Thomas J. Lewandowski, MD

Dr. Thomas J. Lewandowski joined ACA in 1999 after completing an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Iowa and a Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Michigan. He has extensive experience in Echocardiography (ultrasound to evaluate the structure and function of the heart).

He uses this knowledge extensively in his general Cardiology Practice. He enjoys a hands-on approach to patient care and the personal relationships developed with each patient. Dr. Lewandowski is recognized by CBS Channel 5 “doctors ranking doctors” top recommended Cardiologist in the Fox Valley.

Dr. Lewandowski received his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. His postdoctoral training included an internship and residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Additional postdoctoral training included fellowships in cardiology, echocardiography and pulmonary hypertension at the University of Michigan Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Diseases, as well as the National Board of Echocardiography. He is a fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.
