G. David Beiser, MD

Dr. Beiser completed his degree in medicine at the Case Western Reserve School of Medicine.  His internship and residency were performed at the Harvard Medical Service in Boston City Hospital.  He served for three years as Senior Assistant Surgeon and Clinical Associate at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute for the United States Public Health Service.  Following this service, Dr. Beiser was appointed Senior Investigator and Co-Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories in the Cardiology Branch of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. 

Dr. Beiser has been active doing research in physiology and pharmacology.  He has performed over 12,000 angiographic and interventional cardiovascular procedures during his professional career.  Since 1982, Dr. Beiser has performed over 2,500 coronary and peripheral angioplasties as well. 

Dr. Beiser is licensed in Nuclear Medicine to interpret nuclear cardiology scans and is board certified in echocardiography.  Dr. Beiser’s background is in interventional cardiology, but he will now be focusing on clinical cardiology. 

Dr. Beiser joined the Appleton Heart Institute in 2005.  He comes to the area from Valparaiso, Indiana where his wife Kim was a Broker/Owner with ReMax Affiliates.  Dr. Beiser’s daughter Katie currently attends the University of Wisconsin – Madison and his son Joshua is at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.  His son Zach will be starting 7^th grade in the Appleton area.  Dr. Beiser also has three grown children living in Mequon and Chicago.
