Brian Guttormsen, MD

Dr. Brian Guttormsen is one of five cardiac interventionaslists at Appleton Heart Institute. He received his bachelor’s degree in zoology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He completed his residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics.

Dr. Guttormsen completed fellowships in medicine and interventional cardiology at UW Hospitals and Clinics. At the Appleton Heart Institute, he will treat adult patients with cardiovascular disease and has a special interest in the treatment of acute coronary syndromes and peripheral arterial disease.

In his free time, Guttormsen enjoys time with his family, running, golfing and reading.
